Exquisite Cuisine @ Et Voila!

If you follow me on social media and are an avid reader of my blog you know I'm obsessed with all things French. Most recently I tried out a new French cuisine spot in Normal Heights called Et Voila. The restaurant is extremely well decorated, but still inviting and the staff is beyond pleasant. It was such a tough decision deciding which of the starter plates I would try, everything looked so appetizing!

A Palatable Ponsaty's

Hands down brunch is my absolute favorite so when I find a new "must try spot" I can't wait to share it! Actually, I keep a list of my top 10 and rarely update it because I'm such a brunch snob. Brunch is more than just food, it's where best friends meet to catch up, couples swap family introductions, work colleagues begin to strategize the upcoming week, and so much more.

A Tempting Table

Mondays are usually my get ready for the week days so things are mellow, well so to speak. I figured it would be the perfect evening to try out the new Farmer's Table, sister restaurant to Farmer's Bottega in Mission Hills. When you hear the city of La Mesa being mentioned it's usually not followed by "has a restaurant you will die over!"

Seasoned Perfection With Salt & Cleaver

I'm always looking to find a great spot to eat. So much that there's actually a folder in my phone called "Stuff My Face". I've come to the conclusion that in my next life I'm most definitely going to be either a chef or a competitive eater, with the latter sounding more promising. With the food industry being extremely competitive, having just exquisite food is no longer enough

A Stride In The Right Direction

In downtown San Diego, there is the amazing restaurant STRIDERS, last week I got to interview Chef Laith and try some of his amazing dishes and refreshing drinks! Words can’t even describe how amazing every dish was, and the dessert was to die for, literally the best I've ever had! The restaurant’s setup was that of sports bar(there were TV’s everywhere), but an elevated one with great attention to detail.

A Morning At Breakfast Republic

Last week, I was privileged to interview the corporate chef of multiple breakfast eateries, including Breakfast Republic, Cesar Garcia. He is a very genuine person, and it was interesting to see where he started from! It isn’t easy being the chef in charge, especially at such busy and popular places, but Cesar makes it look like a piece of cake!
