Summer is here and with it comes the most perfect of weather. During this season I spend a great deal of time working from the beach and so my annual struggle begins of where to find good food on the go. Not taco shop or pizza!

Munching At Mavericks

So, a few weeks ago I blogged about the coming of Pacific Beach's newest establishment Mavericks Beach Club. Well, it's here and the hype didn't do it any justice. The layout is brilliant and the decor is flawless, my favorite being the yellow wooden chairs. The menu packed just as much of a punch as the decor.

LNCHN AT JRDN

Venturing outside my normal bubble continues and my hunger has me back in the beach community. I must say, restaurants attached to hotels don't get enough credit. JRDN, located inside Tower 23, is a hidden gem worth experiencing! The calamari is simply perfection, being lightly fried and paired with broccoli and fresno chilies.

Waterfront At Waterbar

When I think of great cuisine, being completely honest, Pacific Beach is the last place that comes to mind until now! Waterbar, from its flawless design to the brilliant menu selection, has raised the bar for all establishments around.
