Tokyo Fashion Week hit a high note with brand Children Of The Discordance crushing it like no other. At the helm sits Hideaki Shikama who blends innovation and sustainability in the current Spring 2020 collection. His use of vintage materials and prints complemented by oversized yet tailored silhouettes makes the line feel so modern and easy. Yes, I know hearing about bandana patterns evokes a feeling of nostalgia instead of innovation, but it’s how he uses the pattern to anchor his collection and pairs it with of other motifs that make it such a hit.
