Celebrity stylist, vintage curator, and Times “25 Most Influential Names In Fashion” Cameron Silver is gracing San Diego with his stylish presence all weekend. He’ll be at Pink Lagoon showcasing his trunk show, signing his book talking all things 20th century fashion. I couldn’t be more excited to attend his VIP brunch today as he talked all things vintage and his book Decades: A Century Of Fashion. When power players like Cameron come to town it definitely disproves the myth of “no fashion in San Diego”. Cameron is best known for his vintage store Decades located in the Los Angeles where he sells some the rarest of vintage pieces on the planet. He shared some also gems today’s; splurge on a statement outwear pieces and it’s important for fashion houses to use their dna or lose their dna when transitioning creative teams. If you’re a reality TV lover like myself then you’ll remember him from his brief, but epic show on Bravo, Dukes of Melrose. Most recently he took the helm of fashion brand Halston where he serves as Fashion Director. I can’t think of any better way to end my week than listening to this legend share insight.
