Robes Gone Rogue

Over the past couple weeks, I've been talking about transitioning my style into something more relaxed and more refined. So I decided it was time to bring back the silk robe, think more Hugh Hefner & less Mrs. Roper. Nothing is more of a sign than when one of the most iconic designers incorporates robes into their runway show! Dolce & Gabbana took this simple piece, once thought strictly for the home, and turned into a designer must have. D&G descended upon Rockefeller Center this past weekend for their Alta Sartoria Show. This cotton classic was reimagined in exotics skins, rare silks, and bold graphics. The looks were very high fashion but allowed for an easy transition into your wardrobe. Denim, loafers, and vintage - T topped off with a robe screams well traveled, stylish, and yet so relaxed. And just like that, I've revealed my new look.
