Trekking Through Thailand

A relaxing vacation always sounds like a great idea, until you arrive only to create a self imposed itinerary. Well, not this trip it was all about being a free spirit and letting my heart guide the day. Thailand is known for being a very exotic yet affordable destination. My first stop in this beautiful country was Phuket, as I decided to stay more south this trip. The first couple of days were all about lounging by the pool or bounce around the various beaches. I decide to check a few things from the bucket list like hanging with tigers and riding an elephant. I’m not a huge fan of Thai food however, I must say every meal consisted of me face planting without coming up for air. Whenever you’re in Phuket you MUST stop by The Crab House, as they served the most fresh and delicious blue crab I’ve ever indulged in. In my opinion, the best way to enjoy traveling thousands of miles away is by really submerging yourself in the local culture. This isn’t just about sightseeing, but also reading local material, attempting to speak the native tongue, but most importantly remembering you are guest.
