Passport To Dry Creek
Nothing recharges your battery like being whisked away for a wine weekend! Two weekends ago, I know I'm slightly behind, I was able to enjoy the Passport To Dry Creek in Sonoma. DISCLAIMER: I'm a Napa guy at heart, but I must say this was one of the best weekends I've had in a while. As of recent, I've been enjoying reds and spending time at some of those wineries only furthered my interest. 40+ wineries opened their doors for this weekend, however it's best to approach it with the quality over quantity mindset. BBQ pulled-pork sandwiches, honey shrimp, margherita pizza, and many decadent desserts accompanied the wine at each location. Of all the gorgeous places it's Mazzocco who was most memorable. Paella by the pound, flamenco dancers, and a private tasting area with promising samples from barrels with what's to come. It's clear Dry Creek is defintely trying to steal my heart from Napa. Until next time Dry Creek
