Santa Barbara Escape

So it finally happened after years of talking about it! Santa Barbara has been on my radar for quite a while and not just because of Oprah, but for its secluded beauty. When my good friend Skyler invited me as a plus one to a wedding at the gorgeous Rancho Dos Pueblos, it was the perfect opportunity to explore the city. First stop was the Monarch Butterfly Grove, which was something out of a National Geographic episode. Hundreds upon hundreds of beautifully winged Monarch butterflies gathered to this one location. Following the garden, it was off to the cliffs and later walking the peaceful beaches. While the wedding was without a doubt the highlight of the weekend, the food, gorgeous scenery, and great company weren't far behind. SB I'll definitely be back, but for now it's off to Thailand!
