Seasoned Perfection With Salt & Cleaver

I'm always looking to find a great spot to eat. So much that there's actually a folder in my phone called "Stuff My Face". I've come to the conclusion that in my next life I'm most definitely going to be either a chef or a competitive eater, with the latter sounding more promising. With the food industry being extremely competitive, having just exquisite food is no longer enough

A Stride In The Right Direction

In downtown San Diego, there is the amazing restaurant STRIDERS, last week I got to interview Chef Laith and try some of his amazing dishes and refreshing drinks! Words can’t even describe how amazing every dish was, and the dessert was to die for, literally the best I've ever had! The restaurant’s setup was that of sports bar(there were TV’s everywhere), but an elevated one with great attention to detail.

A Morning At Breakfast Republic

Last week, I was privileged to interview the corporate chef of multiple breakfast eateries, including Breakfast Republic, Cesar Garcia. He is a very genuine person, and it was interesting to see where he started from! It isn’t easy being the chef in charge, especially at such busy and popular places, but Cesar makes it look like a piece of cake!

The Sizzle Of Sabuku

Sabuku Sushi is nestled right on Adams Avenue and 30th St. The owner, Bob Pasela, is the real deal when it comes to a man who knows his foods and how to best please the people who come into his establishment. Upon entering women are immediately seduced by the gorgeous Furla and Zac Posen handbags to the right and the on trend Vince snakeskin sneakers to the left.

Dover Honing Company

"Fashion is a lifestyle not a label", a quote I live by everyday. A huge part of a man's lifestyle is grooming. This isn't just about the $100 eye creams and manly mask, but also his facial hair.  I'm fully aware of the hipster no shave movement currently happening, but that's definitely not for every guy.

John Varvatos Store Opening

Friday was the sneak preview of the John Varvatos store. The turnout was great and it was fun to see how excited people were about the new opening. When you walk into the store, the store looks modern and masculine with the white shelving and wooden tables and floors. A server with a tray of iced tea greeted me and champagne and he kindly asked if I would care for a beverage.
